OUR ATTACK COSTS US …KOTOKO COACH

Asante Kotoko head trainer Paa Kwesi Fabin says his striking department cost his side all the points when they visited WAFA in Sogakope on Sunday.

The former Black Starlets coach stated that his plan of returning from the Volta Region was to claw the three points, but lack of urgency in front cost the team.

Notwithstanding the spoil sharing, the burly coach sounded quite satisfied with the results and has promised to revise his tactics subsequently.

He said after the game “It was a very good game. WAFA still have a very good team, they played well but we came up with a strategy to leave here with the three points.

“Even though we drew we are happy with the result, we’ll go back to the drawing board and work harder to win our subsequent games.”

“Fortunately for me, I’ve not lost a game here before. I led inter Allies to draw here and also Berekum Arsenal, so when I was coming here I was very confident we’re going to take the three points. Our attack was a little bit slow and that cost us the win.”

Kotoko cancelled Ameenu Mohammed’s early lead through Yakubu Mohammed, who redirected Jordan Opoku’s strike 18 minutes into the game.
